Fluke highlighted in Control Magazine

In the Control 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards, Fluke placed in the following categories:

  • #1 in Infrared Temperature Sensor
  • #2 in Infrared Imaging/Thermography
  • #1 in Calibration Management Software
  • #1 in Portable Calibrator

Control Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Award winners are chosen from a survey that Control conducts—they ask their readers to pick and rank which companies delivered the best technology. The winners were highlighted in the January 2019 issue of Control Magazine.

In the same January 2019 issue, Fluke’s MDA-510 and MDA-550 motor drive analyzers were featured in the product roundup section. The Fluke MDA-510 and MDA-550 provide guided testing with graphical step-by-step voltage and current connection diagrams. The preset measurement profiles collect data based on the chosen test procedure.

Control Magazine’s January 2019 issue also included an article titled, “Connecting the unconnectable,” that explains how Johnson & Johnson eased condition-based maintenance, change management and FDA approvals. The article explains that Johnson & Johnson made a decision to pursue a standard platform for asset management in 2011—they wanted to predict asset failure and a process to support data capture into the CMMS, so they chose Maximo.

The article goes on to explain that the original Maximo implementation had mobile capabilities, but the speed wasn’t capable as far as alarms and iPads, which led them to find FlukeConnect2, which can talk to many services and drive data into Maximo. Formerly known as SCHAD AMR, Fluke Connect2Assets turns existing enterprise asset management (EAM) systems into an IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) hub.

The article can be found in Control’s January 2019 digital edition, which can be accessed here.
