The new Fluke 3561 FC Vibration Sensor brings connected reliability to life

Have you heard the news? The new Fluke 3561 Vibration Sensor is now available! This compact, wireless sensor allows maintenance teams to improve uptime by adding remote, continuous vibration monitoring to virtually any rotating equipment. And with a frequency range of 10 to 1,000 hertz, the 3561 FC detects and notifies users of conditional changes caused by common critical faults like imbalance, misalignment, looseness and bearing wear, providing precipitous warning of impending equipment failure.

According to David O’Reilly, president of Fluke Digital Systems:

“Vibration is a key indicator of machine health, but monitoring it is rarely done on Tier two and three equipment because of the cost and complexity. The 3561 FC Vibration Sensor removes the barriers to continuous vibration monitoring by providing maintenance teams with an affordable sensor system that is quick and easy to install and alerts team members to abnormalities before they cause equipment failures.”

The 3561 FC wirelessly transmits vibration data through the Fluke 3502 FC Gateway to Fluke Connect™ Condition Monitoring (FCCM) software, which allows maintenance teams to remotely monitor asset health anytime and virtually anywhere on a desktop computer or smart device. The FCCM software also sends automatic alarms when assets experience conditional changes outside the Fluke Overall Vibration Severity scale parameters, empowering maintenance teams to catch issues before they become critical.
